Delivery & Returns Policy

Payment

Customers can pay by Paypal or google checkout online. Using either a paypal account, or by using a credit or debit card.

Payment can also be made by telephoning the gallery on 01677 427824 and paying via a credit or debit card over the phone. (The phone line is only manned during business hours, this is our preferred method of payment)

If you would like to make a purchase via cheque please email us bedalegallery@gmail.com and give us the details of your order. Once the cheque is recieved and cleared your order will be sent.

Payments are only accepted in pound sterling.

Goods will only be dispatched once receipt of cleared funds.

Availability

All items are subject to availability and are sold on a first come first served basis.

All items are quality checked prior to despatch. In the event that we discover the art is damaged or unavailable prior to despatch, The Bridge Gallery will notify the buyer as soon as possible via email and issue an immediate refund.

The Bridge Gallery reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason. In this event a full refund will be issued immediately.

Delivery

All ordered goods will be delivered to the address supplied by the buyer on the checkout form in the website or on the order form accompanying a cheque.

If the buyer refuses to take delivery of the goods for any reason other than obvious damage to the packaging upon delivery, all expenses incurred by the seller for the delivery and the return of the items will be withheld from any refund to which the buyer may be entitled.

If the buyer is not present when the courier attempts to deliver the goods, a card will be left by the delivery driver requesting the buyer to contact the courier company directly in order to arrange redelivery of the goods. If the buyer fails to contact the courier or is not at home to accept the goods on the rescheduled delivery date, the goods will be returned to the seller and all costs associated with returning the goods and arranging another delivery will be charged to the buyer.

Some goods on our website are sold on behalf of the artists directly, these goods will be sent from the artist direct to you, the customer.

Our delivery costs are on a tiered scale dependant on the value of your order.

Anything over £50 in value is delivered to you for free.

Cancellations / Returns

The buyer may return the items they have bought for any reason within 7 working days of purchase. The buyer will be entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price of the item minus any shipping costs.

When an order is cancelled by a buyer, they must notify the seller of their intention to cancel the order and return the goods. This notification should be conducted by phone, email, or in writing, within 7 days of the original order being placed by the buyer.

Unwanted goods must be returned to the seller within 7 days of delivery.

Unwanted goods must be packaged to ensure no damage can happen to the item whilst it is in transit back to the gallery.
 If damage occurs due to insufficent packaging by the buyer then The Bridge Gallery reserve the right to make deductions from any refund given.

To return an item please contact us on 01677 427824 or email bedalegallery@gmail.com and we will give you clear instructions of how to return the item and where it should be returned to, in some cases this may be the artist direct , in which case you will be informed of this.

Refunds will be made as soon as possible and no later than 7 days from receiving the item.

Damaged Goods / Insurance Claims

If damage is evident upon delivery the buyer should refuse to accept the goods, signing the delivery documents and requesting that the courier return the goods to the seller.

If damage is discovered by the buyer after accepting and unpacking the goods, the buyer should notify the seller immediately by phone or email (this must be within 24 hours of reciept of the goods) detailing the type and extent of any damage.

Please send us a photograph via email to bedalegallery@gmail.com showing the damage.

If we are contacted within 24 hours of receipt of goods we will arrange a courier to collect the goods from you .

If we are notified after 24 hours of reciept of goods the postage costs to return the item will be paid for by the buyer.

All original packaging must be returned to the seller with any damaged items. 

All items must be packaged to ensure no further damage can occur when a piece of art is being returned. Any further damage that is incurred by returning the itme in insufficent packaging will be taken into account when making a refund and any additional losses may be deducted off any refunds made.

The Bridge Gallery will not pay for any third party delivery/collection charges unless agreed in advance.

All refunds for damaged items will be investigated by and made at the discretion of our insurers.

Miscellaneous

The seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your consumer statutory rights.
