So, the big day is slowly creeping up on us. That's right, Christmas day is nearly here! With this weekend set to be the busiest retail shopping time, here at The Bridge Gallery we are all set to offer you some fabulous Original Art, handmade Jewellery, cards.. Sculpture, Teddies, Glassware...the list goes on.

Well, take a look at the "Buy Handmade Campaign" here. As they say, now is the time to buy handmade, and support your local small or family run businesses. All those indie Galleries, Craft shows and independent makers need our support. Who wants to live in a town with nothing but the same shops you can find anywhere, all across the U.K?
Sadly, in the current climate you see a lot of these types of shops closing down. Only you, the consumer can stop this happening.
Luckily, here in Bedale, we are surrounded by unique shops.. and we'd love it to stay that way. With a weekly market, every Tuesday...there really is a lot going on in Bedale, but we would say that!
